Astley Digital is looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our growing team.

We’re looking for someone who is genuinely comfortable working beyond page builders and can develop, troubleshoot and optimise complex WordPress and WooCommerce websites.

  • Strong WordPress development experience
  • WooCommerce development and customisation
  • Custom WordPress theme development
  • Custom plugin development
  • PHP, HTML, CSS & JavaScript
  • WordPress hooks, filters and APIs
  • Third-party API integrations
  • Performance optimisation and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of WordPress security and best practices
  • Git/version control experience

Required Skills

Required Skills

You’ll be working across a variety of client projects, including new website builds, WooCommerce stores, bespoke functionality and ongoing development work.

We need someone who can take ownership of projects, solve problems and write clean, maintainable code.

Good to Have

Knowledge of Entity Framework Core (EF Core).

Basic understanding of React.js or Angular.

Familiarity with Azure, Docker, or CI/CD concepts.

Personal or academic projects using .NET technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc. (Computer Science/IT), or related degree (Final Year Students or Fresh Graduates).

Academic projects using C#, ASP.NET, or SQL Server are preferred.

Portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing development projects is an added advantage.
