We’re looking for someone who genuinely understands WordPress and can confidently build, maintain, troubleshoot and improve websites for our growing client base.

You’ll work across a variety of projects, from new website builds and migrations through to performance improvements, security, maintenance and ongoing development.

  • Building and developing WordPress websites
  • Maintaining and updating existing client websites
  • Troubleshooting WordPress, plugin and theme issues
  • Working with page builders and custom themes
  • Managing website migrations and staging environments
  • Improving website speed, performance and Core Web Vitals
  • Implementing security best practices
  • Troubleshooting PHP, database and hosting-related issues
  • Integrating third-party services and APIs
  • Working alongside our infrastructure, cyber security and marketing teams
  • Supporting clients with ongoing website requirements

What we’re looking for

What we’re looking for

• Strong commercial WordPress experience

• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP

• Experience with MySQL/MariaDB

• Experience with popular WordPress themes and page builders

• Understanding of DNS, SSL, domains and web hosting

• Ability to diagnose problems rather than simply install another plugin and hope for the best

• Good attention to detail

• Strong communication and time-management skills

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Shopify Plus stores.

Knowledge of Node.js and backend integrations.

Experience with headless CMS platforms such as Contentful, Sanity, or Strapi.

Familiarity with Google Analytics, GTM, SEO, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).

Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Experience working in distributed or cross-functional teams.

Key Deliverables

End-to-end implementation and maintenance of Shopify storefronts.

Development of both Hydrogen and Liquid-based eCommerce experiences.

Custom theme development, enhancement, and optimization.

High-performing, scalable, and conversion-focused online shopping experiences.

Reliable integration of third-party applications and enterprise systems.

Continuous improvement of site performance, usability, and customer experience.
